With a goal from Trincao two minutes from the end, Barcelona beat Betis 3-2 at the Benito Villamarín Stadium for matchday 22 of La Liga.
Barcelona kept the second place in the
standings after beating Betis 3-2 this Sunday and is 7 points behind the
Atlético leader, who will play on Monday against Celta (11th).
Borja Iglesias put the Betics ahead in the first half (37),
in which Lionel Messi did not play,
reserved by Ronald Koeman.
Two minutes after jumping onto the pitch, Messi equalized the
game (59) and shortly after, Barcelona took the lead with an own goal from
Víctor Ruíz (68).
The Andalusian defender repaired his mistake shortly after
scoring the provisional 2-2 goal (75) that remained until the Portuguese
Francisco Trincao decided the duel with a goal in the 87th minute.
Barcelona, with 43 points, is even with Real
Madrid, who also had to come back on Saturday, but against bottom Huesca, with a
