Qarabag Agdam is the first Azerbaijani team in
history to be able to qualify for the Champions
League group stage: he did so in August by eliminating the Copenhagen
strike. The club has a special history since it was founded in Agdam, Nagorno
Karabakh city which after being destroyed by the fighting between Armenian and
Azerbaijani armies, now no longer exists.
That is why the team first moved to Baku then to Quzanli near
the Nagorno Karabakh border. He plays his international matches at the Olympic Stadium in Baku a facility built in 2015
that holds 70,000 spectators. Two weeks ago he started at the Champions League group wins 6-0 in
London from Chelsea.
Roma is favored for tonight since Qarabag
is by far the weakest team in Group C but is not favored by the turn of the
season. He drew the first game at home against Atletico Madrid and tonight he
has to win in order to lose relatively easy points in view of Chelsea's fights.
Di Francesco's Roma will play with the usual 4-3-3 but with some more news,
starting with Gonalons and Pellegrini midfielders.
