The FIFA World Cup in Qatar will begin on Monday 21 November
2022 at the Al Bayhor Al Bayt stadium and will end on Sunday 18 December at the
Lusail Stadium, in the city of the same name. The dates of the 22nd edition of
the World Cup were made official on Wednesday by FIFA together with the times
of all the matches of the tournament. In Qatar, it will be played at 13.00, 16.00,
19.00, and 22.00 in local time. In the group stage there will always be four
games a day; in the knockout round two until the semi-finals on 13 and 14
December. The proximity between the five cities that will host the event will
not require transfers by plane between one game and another.
